You just plunge your hot body and swim to your heart’s content and feel refreshed and rejuvenated. But if you’re really looking for a place where you can swim and relieve the hotness you are experiencing during the summer season, I think this is one of the best places to be. Orientation and ambiance wise I think it is just ordinary and not as spectacular as the other spring resorts and that’s rational since it is a public resort. If you want to grill meats or seafood there are available grillers but of course expect queue as well. For the food and beverages, it is most convenient to bring your own home-cooked food. Don’t worry for you can find different nice spots since there are shaded areas as well as lots of trees to protect you from the sun. The resort gets really overcrowded during peak seasons so you have no choice but just to rent tables (500php/pax) and look for locations where you can place it. If you are planning to go there in a large group especially during the peak season which is summer time, I highly recommend you to reserve at least a room since huts are not open for reservation (First come, first serve basis). It’s not a 5-star hotel and resort but its atmosphere purely embraces the sense of nature. The resort is designed to be Eco-friendly and sustainable. The tricycles will send you directly to the resort for a fee of Php 150 per special trips. The resort is 5km from the main road and there are 5-seater tricycles piling up just where the bus will disembark you. Note that you have to inform the bus driver or attendant to drop you at the Maharlika Hi-way where there’s a Bato Springs signboard. If you’ll be taking the bus bound to Lucena from Pasay Terminal in Taft Ave., the fare is Php127 each passenger. This pool has two water falls around it where you can sit and have your back massaged by the flowing water. The main pool is about 4 feet deep and has a groto/cave hidden with a stream of falling water, water flows from this to a second pool which is about 2 feet deep. ![]()
